Requirements

• Senior Certificate (or equivalent).
• Appropriate experience in a dental laboratory as a laboratory assistant.
• Good communication skills.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain equipment.

Duties

• Provide effective support services in the dental laboratory.
• Assist dental technicians, for example, by investing and packing dentures, pouring and trimming models, and articulating working models.
• Help dental technicians handle materials, equipment, and related tasks.
• Support operations in the dental laboratory stores.
• Perform basic maintenance on laboratory equipment.
• Provide basic administrative support and maintain accurate records of work in input and output registers.

Salary

R 193 359 per annum – R 227 766 per annum. This includes annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer’s contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
