Introduction

Job Objectives:

Responsibilities

• Deal with customers professionally and keep all information confidential, following SOPs and meeting deadlines.
• Process prescriptions and handle any related claims or data entry tasks.
• Manage all patient profiles accurately and completely.
• Communicate with healthcare professionals when necessary.
• Solve problems and follow up on any queries.

Duties

• Assist customers by phone or other methods with questions about medications and healthcare services.
• Enter prescription details accurately at the central pharmacy.
• Handle inquiries about prescriptions.
• Manage patient profiles.
• Help with chronic medication authorizations.
• Work with other departments as needed.
• Perform additional tasks based on operational needs.

Knowledge:

• Understanding of products, including over-the-counter (OTC) items.
• Knowledge of SAPC regulations and relevant laws.
• Strong understanding of chronic authorization processes and procedures.
• Focus on customer service.

Minimum Requirements

Experience:

• At least 1 year as a Pharmacist Assistant Post Basic.
