Introduction

You will provide pharmaceutical care services within your scope of practice and handle daily dispensary administration based on the company’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Job Description

Key Objectives:

  • Maintain high standards of customer service and care
  • Manage efficient stock control and administration, including repacking medicines
  • Handle dispensary administration effectively
  • Perform accurate compounding
  • Offer general health advice
  • Keep high standards of housekeeping and merchandise display
  • Meet other ad hoc needs as required by operations

Minimum Requirements

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Matric with Mathematics (Essential)
  • Meet the minimum requirements of the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC) for Pharmacist Assistant levels (Qualified, Post Basic, and Learner Basic)

Skills, Abilities, and Job-Related Knowledge:

  • Knowledge of products in the health aisle and over-the-counter (OTC) items
  • Understanding of SAPC and relevant legal requirements
