Job Description

Job Objectives:

  • Carry out all point-of-sale tasks quickly and accurately.
  • Scan items correctly, process payments, and handle clubcard rewards with precision.
  • Manage cash securely at all times.
  • Promote the Clicks clubcard actively and sign up new members to meet participation goals.
  • Inform customers about current promotions to boost sales and help them save money.
  • Offer outstanding customer service by representing the brand well, being approachable, and providing friendly, professional help.
  • Perform merchandising and housekeeping tasks to meet store and visual standards.
  • Support the company’s goal to be the top choice for health and beauty retail by embracing its values.
  • Stay informed about products, ranges, promotions, and events to give customers accurate details.

Knowledge:

  • Basic math skills
  • Retail or FMCG experience, including merchandising and promotions
  • Understanding of stock management processes
  • Knowledge of delivering excellent customer service

Experience:

  • Desirable: Experience in a customer-facing role in a retail or FMCG store environment

Education:

  • Essential: Grade 12
  • Desirable: 50% in Maths and English at Grade 12 level
