About the Company
The Joint Medical Holdings Group was started almost 40 years ago in the 1980s. A group of doctors founded it to provide accessible healthcare to disadvantaged communities during the apartheid years. Despite challenges like the Group Areas Act and no clear plan, the group opened its first facility, Isipingo Hospital.
Job Title: Enrolled Nurse X2 – Behavioral Centre (Psychiatric Ward)

Purpose of the Position
To provide age-appropriate patient care according to the nursing scope of practice as defined by the South African Nursing Council (SANC).
Key Performance Areas
- Practice within your scope of practice as an Enrolled Nurse.
- Observe, measure, and record patients’ vital statistics. Report any changes in patients’ conditions to RNs and doctors.
- Provide physical and emotional support to patients and their families.
- Follow hospital policies and regulations.
- Deliver safe, quality patient care in the ward.
Minimum Requirements (Educational Qualifications & Experience)
- Matric certificate.
- Enrolled Nurse professional qualification.
- Experience in psychiatry is essential.
- Preferably 2 or more years of experience as an Enrolled Nurse.
- Be prepared to work shifts, including night and day shifts.
