Purpose of the Job

The Furniture Division of the Shoprite Group has an exciting opening for an Admin Controller. You will work in a busy environment and oversee cash and credit administration in the branch.

  • Manage all cash activities in the branch.
  • Handle credit control for the branch.
  • Process payments and credit documents.
  • Keep the payment area clean, organized, and compliant with rules.

Job Objectives

  • Put in place and maintain admin systems, procedures, and policies.
  • Implement and follow financial budgets.
  • Set up and maintain loss control systems.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and housekeeping standards.
  • Apply and uphold HR systems, procedures, and policies.

Qualifications

Essential:

  • Matric or equivalent

Desirable:

  • Matric Maths

Experience Desirable

  • 6 months or more in supervision or management
  • 6 months or more in a retail environment

Knowledge and Skills

  • Experience in payments and administration
