Purpose of the Job
The Furniture Division of the Shoprite Group has an exciting opening for an Admin Controller. You will work in a busy environment and oversee cash and credit administration in the branch.
- Manage all cash activities in the branch.
- Handle credit control for the branch.
- Process payments and credit documents.
- Keep the payment area clean, organized, and compliant with rules.
Job Objectives
- Put in place and maintain admin systems, procedures, and policies.
- Implement and follow financial budgets.
- Set up and maintain loss control systems.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and housekeeping standards.
- Apply and uphold HR systems, procedures, and policies.
Qualifications
Essential:
- Matric or equivalent
Desirable:
- Matric Maths
Experience Desirable
- 6 months or more in supervision or management
- 6 months or more in a retail environment
Knowledge and Skills
- Experience in payments and administration
