Introduction
This is a Level P16 position. The role focuses on providing on-site welding engineering consulting and coordination for welding support services in power generating plants for Eskom’s Generation division. It is based in the Maintenance Department at Koeberg Power Station in the Western Cape.

Minimum Requirements
Qualification(s):
- BSc or BEng Degree in Metallurgy or Mechanical Engineering at NQF8 with 480 credits.
- Registered as an International Welding Engineer (IWE) according to the International Institute of Welding document IAB-252r2-14.
Related Minimum Experience:
- 4 years of related experience in welded construction and manufacturing of parts and components for nuclear applications.
Professional Registration Body:
- Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA).
