Introduction

  • You will provide pharmaceutical care services within your scope of practice and handle daily dispensary administration following the company’s Standard Operating Plans (SOPs).

Job Description

Key Objectives:

  • Maintain high standards of customer service and care.
  • Manage stock control and administration efficiently, including repacking medicines.
  • Handle dispensary administration effectively.
  • Perform accurate compounding.
  • Offer general health advice to customers.
  • Keep high standards of housekeeping and merchandise display.
  • Handle any additional tasks as needed for operations.

Minimum Requirements

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Matric with Mathematics (essential).
  • Meet the minimum requirements of the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC) for Pharmacist Assistant levels (Qualified, Post Basic, or Learner Basic).

Skills, Abilities, and Job-Related Knowledge:

  • Knowledge of products in the health aisle and over-the-counter (OTC) medicines.
  • Understanding of SAPC regulations and relevant laws.
  • Strong customer service focus.
  • Ability to work as a team player.
  • High level of integrity.
  • Commitment to ethical practices and compliance.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Basic calculation skills.
  • Familiarity with IT business operating systems.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
