Accountant Internship

Job Description

• iMasFinance, an authorised financial services provider, invites applications for a 12-month Accountant Internship. We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Intern to join our dynamic team. This internship provides an excellent opportunity for recent graduates to gain practical experience in a supportive and professional environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the finance team in daily accounting tasks, including bookkeeping, invoicing, and reconciliations.
• Participate in the audit process and help ensure compliance with financial regulations.
• Learn and apply financial analysis techniques to improve our financial operations.
• Contribute to various finance projects, including budgeting and forecasting.
• Provide support in managing accounts payable and receivable.
• Assist in the preparation of tax filings and ensure accuracy in all financial documentation.
• Capture fixed assets, do asset count and fixed asset reconciliations.
• Assist with inbound calls for member benefit queries.

Minimum requirements:

• Recently completed a degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related qualification.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of financial regulations and accounting principles is a plus.
• Available to start the internship programme on 01 February 2026.
