Senior Administration Officer: Traditional Resource Administration

Job Purpose

To monitor and support the implementation of traditional governance and resource administration services.

Requirements

  • Matric Certificate
  • Diploma or Degree (NQF Level 6) in Public Administration, Public Management, Business Administration, or Financial Management, recognized by SAQA
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in administration
  • A valid driver’s license

  • Knowledge of public administration and governance
  • Understanding of traditional affairs and customary law
  • Familiarity with administrative systems
  • Skills in document management and filing systems
  • Knowledge of the Public Financial Management Act
  • Understanding of Treasury Regulations

Duties

  • Review the implementation of traditional capacity building programs
  • Maintain the functionality of traditional councils
  • Provide support services for the burial administration of traditional leaders
  • Review the implementation of traditional leadership legislation
