Introduction

Responsible for providing pharmaceutical care services (within scope of practice) and performing day-to-day dispensary administration according to the company’s Standard Operating Plans (SOPs).

Job Description

Job Objectives:

• Maintain high standards of customer service and care.
• Manage efficient stock control and administration, including repacking of medicine.
• Handle efficient dispensary administration.
• Perform accurate compounding.
• Provide general health advice.
• Keep high standards of housekeeping and merchandise display.
• Meet ad hoc requirements as per operational needs.

Minimum Requirements

Qualifications and Experience:

• Matric with Maths (Essential).
• Minimum requirements of the Health Professions Council of South Africa for the various levels as a Pharmacist Assistant (Qualified, Post Basic, and Learner Basic).

Skills, Abilities, and Job-Related Knowledge:

• Product knowledge (Health aisle and OTC).
