We have great opportunities for Beauty Assistants in our Clicks stores. You will report to the Store Manager and handle the entire beauty department.

Job Description

Job Purpose:

To provide excellent service by offering professional advice on beauty and skincare products. Promote and manage merchandise effectively, and keep the area clean to build customer loyalty and boost sales.

Job Objectives:

• Consult with customers, answer questions about products, and recommend the best options for their needs.
• Drive sales in the beauty department by promoting products, cross-selling, and up-selling to meet monthly targets.
• Track sales, review product performance, and suggest improvements to increase offerings and sales.
• Stay updated on beauty products, trends, promotions, and events to give accurate information to customers.
• Handle all daily operations in the beauty department, including stock management, reducing losses, and maintaining cleanliness and admin tasks.
• Ensure visual merchandising, store presentation, and promotions meet high standards.
• Deliver top customer service by being a brand ambassador—friendly, visible, and professional.
• Promote the Clicks ClubCard and sign up new members to reach participation goals.
• Boost profits and loyalty by promoting private label and exclusive products.
• Make Clicks the top choice for health and beauty by living our company values.

Minimum Requirements

Qualifications and Experience:

• Essential: Grade 12 (Matric)
• Desirable: Qualification in beauty or skincare
• Desirable: Experience in beauty, skincare, retail, fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), sales, or marketing

Skills, Abilities, and Job-Related Knowledge:

• Understanding of sales principles
• Retail or FMCG background, including merchandising and promotions
• Knowledge of stock management
