Introduction

You will provide pharmaceutical care services within your scope of practice and handle daily dispensary administration by following the company’s Standard Operating Plans (SOPs).

Job Objectives

  • Maintain high standards of customer service and care.
  • Manage efficient stock control and administration, including repacking medicines.
  • Handle dispensary administration effectively.
  • Perform accurate compounding.
  • Offer general health advice to customers.
  • Keep high standards of housekeeping and merchandise display.
  • Handle any additional tasks as needed for operations.

Minimum Requirements

Qualifications and Experience

  • Matric with Maths (essential).
  • Meet the minimum requirements of the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC) for Pharmacist Assistants at qualified, post-basic, or learner basic levels.

Skills, Abilities, and Job-Related Knowledge

  • Knowledge of products in the health aisle and over-the-counter (OTC) medicines.
  • Understanding of SAPC regulations and relevant laws.
