Job Description

Job Objectives:

• Deliver great customer service by being visible in the store and proactive in meeting customer needs, using knowledge of health and supplements.
• Consult with customers and give suitable advice on healthcare, nutritional, and supplement products.
• Drive healthcare sales to meet targets by promoting various brands through cross-selling and upselling to increase profitability.
• Ensure stock availability in healthcare aisles by following stock management principles and procedures to support sales.
• Prevent wastage in your area by sticking to stock rotation principles.
• Avoid stock losses by following all risk management policies and principles.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in the store to create a welcoming shopping environment.
• Implement product merchandising by following guidelines and procedures.
• Adhere to all store standard operating procedures.
• Ensure smooth service by developing your skills, product knowledge, and sharing information with relief staff.

Knowledge:

• Desirable: Basic knowledge of health, fitness, and supplements products.
• Essential: Basic understanding of retail store operations, including stock management, merchandising, and risk management.

Skills:

• Essential: Good communication and interaction skills; customer and service orientation; selling skills; merchandising skills.
• Desirable: Basic computer literacy.

Minimum Requirements

Experience:

Essential:

• At least 1 year of related experience.
• Selling skills and customer-related training.

• Experience working with sports nutrition and vitamin-related products.

Education:

• Essential: Matric (50% in English, 50% in Maths or 60% in Maths Literacy, and a pass in Physical Science or Life Science).
• Desirable: Qualification in sports, fitness, or nutrition.
