Duties:
Reporting directly to the Accountant: Budget and Reporting, the successful candidate will perform the following duties:
- Prepare and consolidate budgets.
- Maintain the investment register, including making investments.
- Reconcile the investment register to the financial system every month.
- Help compile monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for National Treasury and other stakeholders.
- Assist in preparing the budget and entering it into National Treasury schedules.
- Ensure proper maintenance of records.
- Help gather financial information for preparing financial statements.
Requirements:
- Grade 12 plus a National Certificate in Accounting or Financial Management or equivalent.
- Municipal Financial Management Act Programme Certification.
- No criminal record.
- 2 years of relevant experience.
