Introduction

This role involves providing pharmaceutical care services within your scope of practice and handling day-to-day dispensary tasks according to company standards. The main focus is on managing scripts and general dispensing duties, with an emphasis on patient satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers professionally and keep information confidential, following standard procedures and timelines.
• Handle script administration and any related claiming or capturing tasks.
• Manage all patient profiles accurately and completely.
• Work with healthcare professionals when necessary.
• Solve problems and follow up on queries.

Duties

• Communicate with customers by phone or other methods about medications and healthcare services.
• Accurately capture scripts received at the central pharmacy.
• Handle questions about prescriptions.
• Manage patient profiles.
• Assist with chronic medication authorizations.
• Coordinate with other departments.
• Handle additional tasks as needed for operations.

Knowledge Required

• Knowledge of products, including over-the-counter items.
• Understanding of SAPC regulations and relevant laws.
• Familiarity with chronic authorization processes and procedures.
