Introduction

Responsible for providing pharmaceutical care services within the scope of practice and handling day-to-day dispensary administration according to the company’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Job Description

Key Objectives:

• Maintain high standards of customer service and care.
• Manage efficient stock control and administration, including repacking medicines.
• Handle dispensary administration effectively.
• Perform accurate compounding.
• Provide general health advice.
• Ensure high standards of housekeeping and merchandise display.
• Address any additional requirements as needed for operations.

Minimum Requirements

Qualifications and Experience:

• Matric with Mathematics (Essential).
• Meet the minimum requirements of the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC) for various levels as a Pharmacist Assistant (Qualified, Post Basic, and Learner Basic).

Skills, Abilities, and Job-Related Knowledge:

• Knowledge of products in the health aisle and over-the-counter (OTC) medicines.
• Understanding of SAPC and relevant legal requirements.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Ability to work as a team player.
• High level of integrity.
• Ethical working practices and compliance.
• Accuracy and attention to detail.
• Basic calculation skills.
• Familiarity with IT business operating systems.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
