Maintenance Assistant – Curro Krugersdorp

What we are looking for:

We need someone with the following qualifications, experience, and skills:

  • Grade 12 certificate
  • Valid driver’s license
  • 2 to 5 years’ experience as a maintenance supervisor

Advantageous:

  • 5 years of experience is an advantage

Key responsibilities:

Supervising Ground Staff

  • Oversee the daily duties of ground staff
  • Check attendance and timekeeping of staff
  • Review and supervise completed work

Maintenance of Campuses

  • Review emails and maintenance requests
  • Delegate tasks to ground staff
  • Ensure jobs are completed correctly
  • Perform maintenance tasks as needed across all campus areas

Security Support

  • Open and close the school
  • Arm and disarm all alarms
  • Handle any alarms triggered from the control room

Procurement of Stock

  • Check available stock levels
  • Purchase required stock after authorization
  • Submit purchase slips for reconciliation to the bursar
