Purpose of the Job

Medirite Bishop Lavis is seeking a qualified Post-Basic Pharmacist Assistant to join our team. You will help the pharmacist with dispensing medicines and handling pharmacy-related administrative tasks.

Job Objectives

  • Manage stock effectively
  • Assist with dispensing under pharmacist supervision
  • Handle administrative duties
  • Maintain housekeeping standards
  • Provide excellent frontshop service

Qualifications

Essential:

  • Qualified as a Post-Basic Pharmacist Assistant
  • Registered as a Post-Basic Pharmacist Assistant with the South African Pharmacy Council

Experience

  • At least two years in a similar role

Knowledge and Skills

Essential:

  • Strong customer service skills
  • Knowledge of dispensing procedures
  • Familiarity with dispensing and ordering systems

Desirable:

  • Understanding of retail or FMCG operations
