Responsibilities
Job Overview
Develop and grow business in your territory by meeting revenue and volume targets as outlined in the Annual Operating Plan. Maintain optimal cost levels, such as managing returns, crates, and scheduled call compliance.
Selling & Delivery
- Provide consistent, professional, and efficient service during customer visits to enhance satisfaction and build strong relationships. Sell and distribute all assigned product categories.
- Execute promotions, place market equipment, and introduce new products in stores.
- Increase sales in stores by following execution standards for each channel and attracting new customers.
- Record sales and invoice customers accurately using the PepsiCo system.
- Collect cash and Proof of Delivery for credit customers.
- Manage crates effectively to minimize losses.
- Complete end-of-day settlement processes.
Merchandising
- Manage stock levels and rotate products on shelves according to PepsiCo standards to boost sales and reduce returns.
- Apply point-of-sale materials in stores and ensure PepsiCo assets are used only for PepsiCo products.
- Operate vehicles safely.
- Demonstrate PepsiCo Way behaviors.
Compliance
- Follow all traffic and safety laws, as well as company policies, including health and safety regulations.
- Keep delivery vehicles clean, well-maintained, and safe. Report any mechanical issues.
- Maintain accurate records of stock in the vehicle, including returns or damaged goods.
Qualifications
- Matric or NQF3 (shortlisted applicants will be assessed).
- Valid Driver’s License (Code 10) and Professional Driving Permit (PDP).
- Strong driving skills, including defensive driving training.
- Excellent disciplinary and attendance record.
- Skills in executing winning sales plans, selling, building relationships, communicating effectively, and identifying sales opportunities.
