Officer ETD – Maintenance – Control and Instrumentation (Gx Kusile PS) X1

Minimum Requirements

Qualifications:

  • National Diploma Technical, or
  • National Diploma in Power Plant Process Control Operations NQF level 5 or 6, or
  • National N Diploma with Trade Test

Non-Technical:

  • National Diploma in ETDP / Educational Sciences / HR Management
  • All qualifications must be at NQF 6 with 240 credits

Related Minimum Experience:

  • 3 years experience in:

Technical: Technical Training experience / Operating experience

Non-Technical: Experience in Education and Training

Skills and Competencies Required:

  • Behavioral: Independent working ability, Ability to manage groups

Knowledge:

  • In-depth knowledge of the field of facilitation
  • Knowledge of Skills Planning

Skills:

  • Interpersonal relations
  • Presentation
  • Facilitation
  • Evaluation

  • Ability to distinguish colors

Assessments: Proven track record in facilitating courses, assessing learners, moderating course results, satisfying ISO 9001:2008 and accreditation requirements, and evaluating providers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Training delivery and facilitation of workgroups
  • Perform training and development assessments and evaluations
  • Apply current relevant training and development technologies and methodologies for effective learning transfer
  • Ensure end-to-end training administration is completed
  • Customer liaison and communication
