Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Retail Floor Assistant to join our team. You will help customers on the shop floor, keep the store in good condition, and support daily operations.

This role needs strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and a real interest in providing great customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Assistance

  • Greet and help customers in a friendly and professional way.
  • Share product details and advice to help customers choose the right items.
  • Answer customer questions and fix any problems quickly.

Sales Support

  • Help the sales team meet store goals.
  • Set up product displays to make them look attractive.
  • Keep the sales floor neat, clean, and stocked with items.

Inventory Management

  • Help receive, unpack, and organize new stock.
  • Do regular checks on stock levels and report any issues to management.
  • Make sure products have the correct prices and labels.

Store Maintenance

  • Keep the store clean and tidy, including shelves, counters, and displays.
  • Follow health and safety rules in the store.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of experience
  • Computer literate
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Matric/Grade 12 (NSC)
  • Tertiary qualification is an advantage
