Introduction

This role involves providing pharmaceutical care services within your scope of practice and handling daily dispensary administration based on the company’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Job Objectives:

• Maintain high standards of customer service and care.
• Manage efficient stock control and administration, including repacking medicines.
• Handle dispensary administration effectively.
• Perform accurate compounding.
• Offer general health advice.
• Keep high standards of housekeeping and merchandise display.
• Meet other ad hoc requirements as needed.

Minimum Requirements

Qualifications and Experience:

• Matric with Mathematics (essential).
• Meet the minimum requirements of the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC) for various levels as a Pharmacist Assistant (Qualified, Post-Basic, or Learner Basic).

Skills, Abilities, and Job-Related Knowledge:

• Knowledge of products in the health aisle and over-the-counter (OTC) items.
• Understanding of SAPC regulations and relevant laws.
• Customer service focus.

• Basic calculation skills.
