Job Description

Job Objectives:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service through in-store visibility and proactive response to customer needs, based on knowledge of health and supplements.
  • Consult with customers and provide suitable advice on healthcare, nutritional, and supplement products.
  • Drive healthcare sales to meet targets by promoting a wide range of brands through cross-selling and upselling to increase profitability.
  • Ensure stock availability in healthcare aisles by following stock management principles and procedures to boost sales.
  • Prevent wastage in your area by adhering to stock rotation principles.
  • Prevent stock losses by following all risk management policies and principles.
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in the store to create an appealing shopping environment for customers.
  • Implement product merchandising by following the merchandising guidelines and procedures.
  • Adhere to all store standard operating procedures.
  • Ensure continuity of service by focusing on your development, product knowledge, and sharing information with relief staff.

Knowledge:

  • Desirable: Basic knowledge of health, fitness, and supplements products.
  • Essential: Basic knowledge of retail store operations, including stock management, merchandising, and risk management.

Skills:

  • Essential: Good communication and interaction skills.

Minimum Requirements

Experience:

Essential:

  • At least 1 year of related experience.
  • Selling skills and customer-related training.

Desirable:

  • Experience working with sports nutrition and vitamin-related products.

Education:

  • Essential: Matric (50% English, 50% Maths / 60% Maths Literacy, and a pass in Physical Science or Life Science).
  • Desirable: Sports, fitness, or nutrition qualification.
