Office Manager: Office of the Chief Financial Officer

SANBI is looking for an enthusiastic, motivated, dedicated, and responsible person to provide administrative, logistical, financial, and professional services to the Office of the Chief Financial Officer. This includes support for projects and events.

  • This role requires a degree in Office Management, Public Administration, or an equivalent qualification at NQF 7. A postgraduate qualification or equivalent at NQF 8 is an advantage.
  • You need 4 years of experience in a related field.
  • Key skills include: Experience managing a senior executive’s office; Knowledge of the Public Finance Management Act and National Treasury Regulations; Strong interpersonal skills and a methodical approach to work; Project management training and experience is a plus; Good business management, planning, organizing, and problem-solving skills; Excellent verbal and written communication; Report writing and people management abilities; Computer skills in MS Word, MS Project, PowerPoint, Excel, Internet, and Outlook; A valid driver’s license with at least one year of driving experience, and willingness to travel.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Manage financial, budget, procurement, and compliance matters to support the Office of the Chief Financial Officer and Director of SCM and Asset Management.
  • Coordinate office-related projects and programs for the Office of the Chief Financial Officer.
  • Provide logistical support and secretarial services to the Office of the Chief Financial Officer.
