Introduction

This role focuses on delivering excellent service through efficient customer support, point-of-sale operations, and in-store merchandising to create a positive experience for customers.

Job Description

Key Objectives:

• Handle all point-of-sale activities quickly and accurately.
• Scan items correctly, process payments, and apply clubcard rewards with high precision.
• Manage cash safely at all times.
• Promote the Clicks clubcard actively and sign up new members to meet participation goals.
• Inform customers about promotions to boost sales and help them “feel good and pay less.”
• Provide outstanding customer service by acting as a brand representative, staying visible, and offering friendly, professional support.
• Carry out merchandising and housekeeping tasks to meet store and visual standards.
• Support the company’s goal to be the top choice for health and beauty retail by embodying its values.
• Stay informed about products, ranges, promotions, and events to give accurate information to customers.

Knowledge Required:

• Basic math skills
• Background in retail or FMCG, including merchandising and promotions
• Understanding of stock management processes
• Knowledge of excellent customer service

Minimum Requirements

Experience:

• Preferred: Experience in a customer-facing role in retail or FMCG operations

Education:

• Required: Grade 12
• Preferred: 50% in Maths and English at Grade 12 level
