Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12 / NQF level 4, plus a National Diploma in Secretarial / Office Administration or any related tertiary qualification in Administration at NQF level 6.
- Knowledge of secretarial and office administration concepts and functions.
Primary Function:
- Provide full administrative, secretarial, and office management support to the Director. This includes handling correspondence, keeping records, scheduling the Director’s diary and meetings, responding to stakeholder inquiries, and ensuring smooth office operations through effective communication, documentation, and logistics.
Key Performance Areas:
- Coordinate and manage all documentation for the Director’s Office.
- Handle the Director’s diary and schedule of activities.
- Respond to requests for the Director’s Office and provide general office support.
- Offer administrative support to the Director’s Office.
Leading Competencies:
- Computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong communication skills.
- Good coordination skills.
Core Competencies:
- Basic understanding of secretarial and office administration concepts and functions.
- Batho Pele principles and ethics.
- Professionalism.
