General Manager – 6 Month Fixed-Term Contract (GM_ORL)

Job Overview:

As the Lodge Custodian, you will oversee all aspects of hotel and resort operations. Your role will ensure high standards of guest satisfaction, financial performance, and employee engagement. You will shape the guest experience, maintain the property’s reputation, and help achieve business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic direction to all hotel and resort departments.
  • Foster a culture of exceptional customer service and guest satisfaction.
  • Develop and manage the annual budget with executive leadership.
  • Work with the sales and marketing team to increase revenue and occupancy.
  • Partner with the Head Office People team for recruitment, training, and building a high-performing team.
  • Ensure compliance with brand standards, industry regulations, and legal requirements.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with the local community.
  • Lodge team members must be versatile and participate in various entertainment responsibilities.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management or a related field.
  • At least 4 years of experience in 3-star resort operations and leadership in a similar role.
  • Strong financial skills and experience managing budgets.
  • Proven ability to drive revenue and improve operational efficiency.
  • In-depth knowledge of hotel management software and industry best practices.
  • Advanced computer literacy, including APEX and PLUSPOINT.
  • Timeshare or share block experience is an advantage.
  • Excellent food and beverage skills.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of OTAs.
