Senior State Accountant: Expenditure And Accounts: Polokwane Welfare Complex Jobs

Key Performance Areas

• Provide financial budgeting services.
• Ensure effective revenue and debt management.
• Ensure the management of conditional grants and donor funding through appropriate processes.
• Ensure processing of payments.
• Attend to audit and supplier queries.
• Compile monthly and quarterly expenditure reports, as well as early warning reports.
• Perform creditor reconciliations.
• Monitor the payments register.
• Advise on the virement of funds in terms of the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA).

Prerequisites

• An appropriate qualification at NQF 6 or equivalent in Financial Management, Accounting, or Auditing, as recognized by SAQA.
• A minimum of 2-3 years’ relevant experience.
• A valid motor vehicle driver’s license (except for persons with disabilities).
