Position: Staff Nurse (Grades 1, 2, or 3) – 4 Posts
Salary:
- Grade 1: R220 614 – R250 500 per year (OSD)
 - Grade 2: R262 287 – R298 932 per year (OSD)
 - Grade 3: R306 798 – R382 107 per year (OSD)

Requirements:
- A qualification that allows registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a Staff Nurse.
 - Current registration with SANC as a Staff Nurse.
 - Grade 1: No experience needed.
 - Grade 2: At least 10 years of relevant nursing experience after registering as a Staff Nurse.
 - Grade 3: At least 20 years of relevant nursing experience after registering as a Staff Nurse.
 
Duties:
- Perform tasks under the guidance of a Professional Nurse, as required by the Nursing Act.
 - Provide basic nursing care, including well-defined tasks such as:
 - Follow nursing care plans for patients.
 - Check vital signs and watch for reactions to medicines and treatments.
 - Help maintain hygiene, comfort, and support for patients.
 - Oversee fluid balance, oxygen levels, and sensory needs of patients.
 - Support wound and fracture healing, and protect skin.
 - Prepare for and assist with tests and treatments done by registered professionals.
 - Help with procedures and anesthesia in the ward.
 - Care for patients who are dying or have passed away.
 - Guide family or friends to the right person for questions or support in times of loss.
 - Work with the nurse in charge to keep a safe environment that follows standard procedures.
 - Use standard methods to choose the best actions when needed.
 - Assist doctors and other nurses with their work.
