Requirements:
- National Senior Certificate plus a National Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Information Management, Public Administration, or a related qualification recognised by SAQA.
 - 1–2 years’ experience in information management or health information systems.
 
Knowledge of:
- DHIS software, Tier.Net, and EDR Web.
 - National Health Information Systems in South Africa (NHISSA) and District Health Management Information System (DHMIS) frameworks.
 - Computer literacy, with strong skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint.
 - Leadership and supervisory skills.
 - A valid driver’s licence is required.
 
Duties:
- Compile HAST monthly, quarterly, and DORA reports for all health facilities.
 - Maintain and monitor timely submission of data, compiling data quality indices measuring timeliness, completeness, submission rates, and overall data accuracy.
 - Serve as Provincial Tier Key Implementer and Tier.Net technical support personnel, providing troubleshooting support and liaising with the National Department of Health (NDoH).
 - Provide provincial Health Information EDRWeb support, assisting sites with data capturing challenges and system functionality.
 - Act as Tier.Net and EDR trainer, conducting training sessions for all stakeholders on the use of data systems and reporting tools.
 - Support district and sub-district personnel with data-related issues and ETR technical problems.
 - Manage and analyse HAST programme data, identifying outliers, missing data, and inaccuracies.
 - Assist in facility audit readiness by ensuring proper implementation and adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
 - Provide regular feedback to districts on data analysis, performance, and progress toward set indicators and targets.
 - Monitor Tier.Net progress on a monthly basis at both district and facility levels.
 - Compile pre-submission reports addressing data quality issues identified in district submissions.
 - Communicate with districts and sub-districts regarding training plans and feedback from sessions conducted by the provincial office.
 - Coordinate meetings and training workshops focused on improving data management and reporting efficiency.
