Assistant Director: HIV/AIDS and Health Productivity Management

Key Performance Areas

  • Coordinate, implement, and monitor HIV/AIDS, TB, and other chronic conditions programs within the department.
  • Coordinate the Health and Productivity Management program across the department.
  • Provide support to district wellness coordinators, Limpopo Traffic College, and management.

Requirements

  • An undergraduate qualification at NQF level 6 in Nursing or a related health field, recognized by the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA).
  • A qualification in HIV/AIDS counseling and management is an advantage.
  • Compulsory annual registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA).
  • 3-5 years of experience at a supervisory level in a related field.
  • A valid driver’s license (except for persons with disabilities).

Person Profile

  • Knowledge of employee wellness policy framework, policy on reasonable accommodation, policy on special leave, National Development Plan, and Public Finance Management Act (PFMA).
  • Computer literacy, policy analysis skills, investigative skills, reporting skills, presentation skills, public relations, management skills, and strong interpersonal relations.
