Job Description

This role includes preparing annual product quality reviews, managing the supplier approval process, supporting audits, handling customer complaints, and assisting with batch releases. You will also provide general administrative support to the quality assurance team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Investigate and manage customer complaints, including tracking trends and implementing corrective actions.
  • Keep records of suppliers and manufacturers up to date, and lead the approval process for raw and packaging materials.
  • Update and maintain the list of approved suppliers, materials, and manufacturers.
  • Prepare plans and reports for annual product quality reviews, and follow up on corrective and preventive actions.
  • Oversee the annual Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) training program, ensuring all records are correct and training happens on schedule.
  • Help with batch releases by checking production documents before products are approved.
  • Support other quality assurance tasks as needed.

Job Requirements

Essential: Grade 12

  • Desired: BTech in Quality Management Systems or Chemistry, BSc in Food Science or Chemistry, or a similar qualification.

Experience:

  • Essential: 2 years of QA/QC experience in a pharmaceutical setting.
  • Desired: Knowledge of quality management systems, investigating customer complaints, and preparing annual product reviews.

Knowledge:

  • Food Safety, HACCP, and Good Manufacturing Practices.
