Minimum Requirements
- A relevant BTech Degree in Engineering
- Registration as a PR Tech Eng (ECSA registration certificate must be submitted)
- 5-8 years relevant experience post registration

Key Performance Areas
- Ensure that the department is strategically aligned with the objectives of the Engineering Services Directorate
- Ensure that capital projects are executed and implemented successfully
- Ensure critical performance indicators are identified and specific measures established to enable the section to plan, manage, and prioritize outcomes
- Monitor activities, projects, and assignments associated with the branch; address deviations and introduce corrective measures to manage conformance, quality, and performance in line with objectives, procedures, and cost parameters
- Ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions to avoid risks to the Council
- Cultivate a climate that promotes and sustains motivation, productivity, performance, and quality of work-life
- Ensure effective financial management, achievement of goals and objectives, and prevention of financial losses
- Prepare accurate estimates to meet treatment objectives and sustain service delivery quality and standards
