Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12
- 1-year project management certificate, or a B-Tech, or Post Graduate Diploma in project management
- 5-8 years of relevant experience, including supervisory experience
- Computer literacy in MS Office
- Valid Driver’s License

Key Performance Areas:
- Align George Municipality housing programs with the Human Settlements Strategy, Integrated Development Plan (IDP), and relevant legislation.
- Maintain proper records of all projects.
- Carry out all administrative processes for projects and ensure compliance with requirements.
- Apply and comply with administrative, departmental, and municipal procedures and guidelines in all activities.
- Meet financial objectives in line with the Municipal Finance Management Act (MFMA).
- Adhere to an effective contract management system for all projects in the section.
- Implement internal control processes and address any discrepancies identified by internal audits within the Directorate.
- Improve compliance with health and safety standards in the section.
- Carry out Emerging Risk Management according to the municipality’s policy, strategy, and implementation plan. Promote a culture of change and risk management in daily activities, and educate staff on its importance.
