Human Resource Officer (Recruitment & Support)

Duties:

  • Provide administrative support for Human Resource Management functions.
  • Manage recruitment and selection processes in coordination with the Human Resources Manager.
  • Handle onboarding and induction for new employees.
  • Support organizational design and development activities.
  • Assist with work study functions.
  • Administer HR electronic systems.
  • Provide statistical support for the municipality and government departments.

Requirements:

  • A relevant three-year tertiary qualification in Human Resources Management or a related field.
  • Code B driver’s license.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Fluent in two of the three official languages of the Western Cape.
  • Computer literate in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Strong writing, reporting, and administration skills.
  • Good minute-taking skills.
  • Effective reporting abilities.
  • Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Adherence to protocol and business ethics.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • 2-5 years of relevant experience.
