Requirements

  • Electrical Engineering Qualification and Certificate of Competency: Electrical (Factory)
  • Code EB driving license
  • MS Office / SAP
  • A minimum of 10 years of considerable management experience at a senior level in the Electrical Engineering field

Key Performance Areas

  • Identifies and defines the immediate, short- and long-term objectives/plans associated with a District
  • Comments on the applicability of specific key performance indicators and measures against outcomes detailed in the department’s business and strategic plans
  • Directs and controls outcomes associated with utilization, productivity, and performance of personnel within a District
  • Prepares capital and operating budget proposals, motivates, and controls expenditure against the approved budget allocations
  • Manages the formulation of specific contracts and tender documents and controls contractual obligations
  • Directs and controls the professional, technical, and operational outcomes associated with the functions related to the district
  • Manages the operational dimensions and resources (materials, plant and vehicle, decentralized depot operations) and monitors utilization and cost effectiveness of activities against operational plans
  • Disseminates functional and operational information on the immediate, short- and long-term objectives and current developments, problems, and constraints
