POST 39/48: ESTATE CONTROLLER (EC1 – EC4) (2 POSTS)
Salary: R252 855 – R586 956 per annum (Salary will be in accordance with the Occupational Specific Dispensation (OSD) determination). The successful candidate will be required to sign a performance agreement.
Requirements: An LLB Degree or a recognized four-year legal qualification. Knowledge of the Administration of Estates Act, compliance requirements, Mental Health Act, Insolvency Act, and other related acts. Knowledge of the Registration of Trusts Act and Curatorship Act. Understanding of all local and international legislation that regulates the protection of children, the South African legal system, legal practices, and related areas, with specific reference to civil litigation and the law of contract. Knowledge of the Constitution, the Institution of Legal Proceedings Against Certain Organs of State Act, State Attorney Act, Public Finance Management Act, Treasury Regulations, and the State Liability Act. Skills and competencies include legal research and drafting, case flow management, estate duties, trusts, dispute resolution, communication skills (verbal and written), problem-solving, customer focus, attention to detail, and computer literacy.
Duties: Key performance areas include administering deceased and insolvent estates, curatorships, trusts, and all related aspects. Determine and assess estate duties in terms of the Estate Duties Act. Conduct research and draft legal documents. Render administrative functions for the office.

Salary: R228 321 – R268 950 per annum. The successful candidate will be required to sign a performance agreement.
Centre: Provincial Office: Mahikeng
Requirements: Grade 12 certificate with commercial subjects. Knowledge and understanding of financial legislation, prescripts, and procedures. Knowledge of Basic Accounting System (BAS), Justice Yellow Pages (JYP), and PERSAL. Understanding of the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA), Division of Revenue Act (DORA), Public Service Act (PSA), Public Service Regulations (PSR), and Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act (PPPFA). Knowledge of basic financial operating systems such as PERSAL, BAS, and LOGIS. Skills and competencies include computer literacy (MS Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel), strong communication skills (written and verbal), creativity and analytical thinking, planning and organizing, problem-solving and conflict management, accuracy, and attention to detail.
Duties: Key performance areas include rendering financial accounting transactions, performing salary administration support services, providing bookkeeping support services, and rendering budget support services.
POST 39/46: CHIEF ADMINISTRATION CLERK (REF NO: 25/VA33/NW)
Salary: R325 101 – R382 959 per annum. The successful candidate will be required to sign a performance agreement.
Centre: Magistrate Office: Ditsobotla
Requirements: Grade 12 certificate or equivalent qualification. A minimum of three (3) years’ relevant experience. Understanding of customer service orientation. Skills and competencies include good communication skills (verbal and written), computer literacy (MS Office), planning, and organizing.
Duties: Key performance areas include rendering general clerical support services, providing supply chain clerical services within the office, providing personnel administration clerical support services within the component, supervising and providing financial administration support services in the component, providing financial administration support services in the office, and providing effective people management.
