Job Description
Job Purpose:
To provide excellent service through efficient customer support, point-of-sale operations, and store merchandising, ensuring a positive experience for every customer.
Job Objectives:
- Carry out all point-of-sale tasks quickly and accurately.
- Scan items correctly and process payments, including clubcard rewards.
- Handle cash securely at all times.
- Promote the Clicks clubcard and sign up new members to meet targets.
- Inform customers about promotions to boost sales and help them save money.
- Act as a brand representative by being approachable and delivering friendly, professional service.
- Perform merchandising and housekeeping tasks to meet store standards.
- Focus on personal growth and product knowledge, and share information with team members for consistent service.
- Support the company’s goal to be the top choice for health and beauty by upholding our values.
- Stay informed about products, promotions, and events to give accurate advice to customers.
Minimum Requirements
Qualifications and Experience:
- Essential: Grade 12
- Desirable: 50% in Maths and English at Grade 12 level
- Desirable: Qualification in Retail or Business Management
- Desirable: Experience in a customer-facing role in retail or FMCG operations
