Position Details:
- Employment Type: Full Time
- Education: Matric + National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (NQF 6)
- Experience: 3 years in mechanical testing
- Location: Pretoria, Gauteng
- Special Requirement: Technical signatory certification
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct mechanical tests and analyze results
- Prepare technical reports and maintain quality documentation
- Calibrate/maintain laboratory equipment
- Develop new testing methodologies
- Ensure compliance with safety standards
- Train junior staff members
- Coordinate with technical committees
Required Competencies:
- Expertise in SANS automotive standards
- Proficiency in root cause analysis
- Quality management system knowledge
- Equipment calibration techniques
- Health & safety regulations
