Job Description:

Cashbuild, the largest retailer of building materials and associated products in South Africa and neighboring countries, is seeking a Forklift Driver. The successful candidate will operate a forklift safely and efficiently, provide excellent customer service, and maintain store standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate the forklift in a safe and cost-effective manner.
• Ensure excellent customer service, including assisting customers, answering queries, and resolving complaints.
• Maintain merchandising standards, ensure accurate shelf labeling, and keep the store area tidy.
• Adhere to safety regulations, including daily forklift inspections and wearing required protective gear.
• Work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required.

Requirements:

• Matric certificate or 1 year of relevant work experience.
• Ability to communicate in English and the dominant local language.
• Basic calculation skills and attention to detail.
• Valid forklift license and physical fitness to operate the equipment.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
