Organization Overview

The Limpopo Department of Cooperative Governance, Human Settlements and Traditional Affairs (CoGHSTA) works to improve service delivery, support community development initiatives, and strengthen governance structures across the province.

Position Details

Location: Polokwane, Limpopo
Positions Available: 2 Permanent Posts
Salary: R468,459 per annum (Level 9)

Key Responsibilities

  • Investigate fraud/corruption cases within government departments and municipalities
  • Implement preventive measures against corporate misconduct
  • Coordinate asset recovery processes
  • Identify and address weaknesses in internal control systems
  • Conduct anti-corruption awareness workshops

Requirements

  • Matric certificate + Bachelor’s Degree/National Diploma (NQF 6) in Criminal Justice, Forensic Investigations, Policing, or related field
  • 3+ years investigative experience in public sector
  • Valid driver’s license (accommodations for persons with disabilities)
  • Working knowledge of PFMA, MFMA, Public Service Regulations
