Role Purpose
Manage and optimize resources, services, and infrastructure in a hybrid-cloud environment while adhering to SARS policies and standards.
Qualifications & Requirements
Option 1:
- Bachelor’s Degree/Advanced Diploma (NQF 7) in IT/Finance
- 5-7 years of software asset management experience
- 2-3 years at functional specialist level
Option 2:
- Senior Certificate (NQF 4) + ITIL Certification
- 10 years software asset management experience
- 2-3 years at functional specialist level
Preferred Certifications: Azure Fundamentals, CSAM, LISA
Key Responsibilities
Operational Excellence
- Maintain accurate SARS fixed asset register through verification processes
- Resolve technical queries and identify improvement opportunities
- Implement process improvements aligned with operational strategy
Compliance & Governance
- Ensure adherence to policies, legislation, and financial controls
- Implement governance frameworks for asset management
Stakeholder Engagement
- Provide specialist guidance to internal/external stakeholders
- Foster collaborative relationships across teams
