Requirements
- ECSA registration as Professional Engineering Technician
- Valid EB driver’s license
- Proficiency with SAP systems
- In-depth knowledge of SANS 474 standards and Electricity Bylaw
- Physical capability to work in confined spaces and various weather conditions
- Availability for emergency call-outs and overtime duties
Key Responsibilities
- Lead technical teams in electricity metering operations
- Oversee maintenance/replacement programs for metering systems
- Verify compliance with national metering standards
- Coordinate with developers on metering-related projects
- Manage specialized meter installations (CT/VT connected systems)
- Optimize team performance through mentoring and resource management
