Organizational Context
The National Prosecuting Authority holds constitutional mandate (Section 179(2)) to initiate criminal proceedings and related functions on behalf of the State.
Position Details
Salary: R1,059,105 per annum (Excluding Benefits) – MMS Level 12
Type: Full-Time Permanent Position
Location: Pretoria, Gauteng
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree (NQF 7) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Forensic Science, or related field with data analysis specialization
- 5+ years experience in legal/investigative/financial data analysis
- Preferred Certifications: CFE, CDA, CISA, CAMS or equivalent
- Demonstrated expertise in investigative techniques and complex data analysis
- Proven ability to work independently and professionally
- Strong leadership and project management skills
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement data analysis strategies for criminal investigations
- Manage forensic data collection and quality assurance processes
- Produce analytical reports supporting legal proceedings
- Lead specialized investigative teams and projects
- Maintain evidentiary integrity throughout case preparation
