Assistant Store Manager – Clicks Hibiscus Mall

Position Summary

We seek a dynamic Assistant Store Manager to support operational excellence, drive sales performance, and deliver exceptional customer experiences at our Hibiscus Mall location.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Customer Experience:

  • Drive sales growth through promotions, cross-selling, and upselling initiatives
  • Implement customer service programs to enhance shopping experience and loyalty
  • Maintain visual merchandising standards aligned with brand guidelines

Operations Management:

  • Oversee stock control, shrinkage reduction, and inventory management
  • Manage store administration including shift scheduling and payroll reporting
  • Ensure compliance with health/safety standards and store cleanliness

Team Leadership:

  • Support staff training and performance management
  • Motivate team to achieve individual and store targets
  • Assume store management responsibilities when required

Requirements

Essential Qualifications:

  • Matric certificate with 50% pass in Mathematics and English
  • 1+ years retail management experience OR Clicks Trainee Program completion
  • Retail/Business Management qualification

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Retail/Business Management
  • Financial management experience (P&L, budgeting)
