Role Summary
Employment Type: Full-Time (Western Cape Based)
Experience Level: 1+ years in emergency medical services
Qualifications: Higher National Certificate in Emergency Medical Care
Core Responsibilities
- Respond to on-site emergency calls and provide immediate medical care
- Maintain operational readiness of emergency response equipment
- Deliver professional pre-hospital emergency services
- Adhere to Occupational Health & Safety regulations
Essential Requirements
- Valid Ambulance Emergency Assistant certification
- 1+ years practical EMS experience
- Thorough knowledge of HPCSA clinical guidelines
- Proficiency in medical documentation and reporting
- Successful completion of physical fitness assessment
Preferred Qualifications
- Training in Clinical Practice Guidelines (HPCSA)
- 1+ years Intermediate Life Support (ILS) experience
- Knowledge of mine health/safety regulations
