Position: Supply Chain Administration Officer
Key Details

- Minimum Qualification: National Diploma in Supply Chain/Logistics (NQF 6)
- Preferred Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree (NQF 7)
- Experience: 2+ years in supply chain administration
- Location: Gauteng
Core Responsibilities
Procurement Support
- Process purchase requisitions and verify fund availability
- Source quotations from certified suppliers via National Treasury database
- Prepare purchase orders and monitor supplier deliveries
Bid Management
- Compile bid documents and coordinate tender processes
- Support bid evaluation committees with documentation and minutes
- Prepare bid outcome reports and appointment letters
Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure adherence to PFMA, Treasury regulations, and internal policies
- Maintain accurate procurement records and meeting minutes
- Update SCM tracking systems and process invoice payments
Team Collaboration
- Provide cross-departmental SCM guidance
- Mentor interns and assist colleagues during peak periods
Essential Requirements
- National Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field
- Proven experience in government procurement processes
- Working knowledge of SAGE PASTEL (advantageous)
- Strong understanding of PFMA and PPPFA regulations
