Position Requirements
Essential Qualifications:
- Matric certificate
- BSc Engineering/BTech or equivalent (NQF 7)
- Municipal Finance Management Programme completion
Preferred Credentials:
- Machinery Regulations Certificate of Competency
- Professional engineering registration
Required Experience:
- 5+ years in middle management with 3-4 years engineering leadership
- Proven track record in municipal infrastructure projects
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee technical services operations and capital projects
- Manage R500M+ infrastructure budgets (MFMA compliance)
- Lead multi-disciplinary engineering teams
- Implement sustainable development strategies
- Coordinate intergovernmental projects (Water/Sanitation/Roads)
