Job Overview

We are seeking a qualified Forklift Driver to join our team at Parow CDC Snacks. This is a full-time position based in Cape Town, Western Cape. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the efficient movement of products and materials within our warehouse and manufacturing facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift to transport products and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Scan product movements to maintain accurate stock levels.
• Move finished goods from the manufacturing plant to the warehouse.
• Load and unload finished goods from transport vehicles.
• Put away stock into designated locations using the EWM system and RF scanner.
• Accurately pick and stage stock for loading.
• Transport products to the overflow warehouse and waste area as needed.
• Conduct daily pre-operation checks on forklifts.
• Report any equipment damage to the Line Manager.
• Ensure forklifts are charged when not in use.
• Adhere to company safety standards and PPE requirements.
• Complete safety reports to minimize risks and incidents.
• Perform additional tasks as directed by the Line Manager or Supervisor.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 qualification required.
• Valid Forklift License (F1 A/K/M) is mandatory.
• Must pass a Medical Assessment.
• At least 2 years of experience as a Forklift Driver.
